We are in search of a talented and passionate Barista who excels in customer service and maintains a tidy and efficient workspace. As a Barista, your role will involve crafting and serving a diverse range of coffee drinks and ice cream delights.
Main Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers and accurately take their orders.
- Prepare and serve an array of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and brewed coffee, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Skillfully operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment.
- Create gourmet ice cream menu items following specific guidelines from the Executive Chef.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace, including the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with precision.
- Inform customers about our coffee selections, including origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding customer service and a positive work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking as necessary.

Responsibilities of a Barista
- Greet, seat, and guide guests through their experience.
- Offer menu recommendations and additional information as needed.
- Encourage the purchase of additional products when appropriate.
- Take orders using software, order slips, or from memory.
- Communicate order details clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly.
- Present checks and collect payments efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of tables and tableware.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience consistently.
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to handle monetary transactions responsibly.
- Capable of multitasking and responding quickly to demands.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A Food Handlers Permit is required.
