We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Value Apothecaries Inc. As an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and review patient clinical and prescription plan coverage information
- Enter prescription details into the pharmacy information system
- Process and adjudicate patient prescriptions
- Perform point of sale transactions and maintain the front-end of the pharmacy
- Retrieve and prepare medication for pharmacist review and verification
- Comply with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory management and merchandising
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries
- 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory pharmacy
- Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
