Job Summary

As a Clinical Dietitian at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients and serving as a nutrition resource to hospital staff and the community.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and initiate the Nutrition Care Process to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, hospital staff, and the general public.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and committees to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Performance Improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care and patient services.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration with healthcare providers and patients.
Requirements
  • Completion of a program meeting requirements leading to registration by The Commission on Registration of The American Dietetic Association.
  • Minimum of 2-4 weeks of orientation to acquire knowledge of BMH protocols and methods.
  • State licensure as an RD or LDN, with registry eligibility by the Commission on Registration of The American Dietetic Association.
