Detailer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Detailer to join our team at Blue Compass RV Albany. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of RVs, as well as performing general detailing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize the interior and exterior of RVs
  • Perform general detailing activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing
  • Clean and polish windows, dust furniture and trim, and clean all floors
  • Wash interiors, including upholstery, and apply leather cleaning products
  • Remove and clean floor mats, apply stain guard, and deep clean appliances
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use hand-held tools to detail the interior of RVs
  • Notify supervisor of any parts that require repair or replacement
  • Prep new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus
  • Self-directed initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work in a team environment and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically strenuous job that requires standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
