Nocturnist role available in a well-established healthcare facility located in Vermont. This position offers a full-time, permanent opportunity for a dedicated physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the sole provider during night shifts from 6 PM to 7 AM.
- Manage acute care in a critical access hospital setting.
- Oversee inpatient care in a 20-bed Med Surg unit and a 4-bed open ICU.
- Conduct rapid responses and handle emergency department admissions.
- Effectively manage codes and provide critical care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Hospitalist role.
- Must hold a current medical license and DEA certificate for Vermont.
- Insurability for malpractice coverage is required.
- Proficiency in ventilator management is essential; procedural skills are not mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
