Job Summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Warminster Campus is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on a part-time day shift. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Residents with Daily Living Activities: Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care, and toileting. Assist residents to meals as needed.
  • Take Vital Signs and Record Intake and Output: Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration, and record intake and output. Change catheter drainage bags as ordered.
  • Pass Medications and Monitor Resident Conditions: Pass medications as directed by physician orders and medication administration records. Observe residents and respond to call bells in a timely manner to determine resident needs. Report any unusual conditions or reactions to supervisors and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Change bed linen when indicated and collect soiled linen according to procedure. Collect soiled personal laundry according to procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Possess a minimum of an 8th-grade education and be a licensed Certified Nurse Aide in accordance with state laws.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
  • Age and Experience: Be at least 18 years of age and possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
