Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components as required, adhering to precise specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fitment of components.
  • Perform self-inspection and testing of equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Accurately report raw materials and inventory used in assembly, maintaining accurate records.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues to the shop lead, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Meet all monthly safety requirements established by the HSE Department, prioritizing a safe working environment.
  • Attend required site Safety Training sessions or complete and submit make-up materials to HSE, demonstrating commitment to safety protocols.
  • Comply with all safety policies and guidelines, adhering to company standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of trades training or a minimum of 1 year of experience with multiple part assemblies.
  • Advanced knowledge of blueprints and layout work, with the ability to work from detailed assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to use shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, and make decisions regarding sequence of setups, operations, and processes.
  • Basic tools of trade, with a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and equipment.
