Position Overview:
The Facility Maintenance Attendant is tasked with ensuring a pristine environment within the Service Center and office spaces. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of cleaning agents and their appropriate usage.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm
Compensation: Base rate of $16.48 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
- Receive a $0.26 wage increase after completing 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, potentially totaling an additional $1.04/hr on top of the base rate.
Attendance Incentive: Earn a $40 Attendance Bonus weekly, which translates to an extra $1 per hour (subject to eligibility and policy rules).
Referral Incentive: Refer a friend and both of you can earn $900, distributed in four increments (eligibility and policy rules apply).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize lockers, walls, cafeteria tables, and chairs.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Maintain cleanliness of restroom sinks, toilets, and stalls.
- Address spills promptly within the Service Center.
- Assist in loading and unloading containers using powered equipment.
- Manage inventory of cardboard boxes.
- Dust and clean furniture and surfaces, including window washing.
- Vacuum carpeted areas thoroughly.
- Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility.
- Adapt to shift rotations as necessary.
Qualifications:
The Facility Maintenance Attendant must possess the physical capability to perform the duties required by this position, which involves movement throughout the facility.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent bending, walking, stretching, and reaching are required.
