We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team at Wilmington Hospital. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide independent peri-anesthetic management of patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, observing for effects of anesthesia
- Supervise and perform post-operative tasks, such as administering medication and changing dressings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- BSN degree or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
- At least two years of experience in Perianesthesia Nursing, Critical Care, or HVIS
