Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient transitions and care coordination
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license
- BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program
- Current AHA CPR certification
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts to accommodate staffing needs
Our 18-bed CVICU is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals. As a Registered Nurse at Advocate Health, you will be exposed to a variety of challenging cases and will have the support of intensivists and NPs on site 24/7.
