About the Company:
This well-established private practice, founded in 2013, employs over 500 staff members, including more than 200 healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Together, they provide care to over 200,000 patients annually across nearly 100 locations in the New York City area, specializing in various fields including gastroenterology, cardiology, oncology, and pediatrics.
Role Responsibilities:
The selected GI endoscopic specialist will deliver outpatient care within their specialty and training scope. Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and managing acute gastrointestinal illnesses
- Addressing chronic gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
- Performing endoscopic procedures to identify GI disorders
- Prescribing medications and therapies as needed
- Communicating procedures and discussing test results with patients
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly
- Providing health and wellness guidance
- Referring patients to other specialists when necessary
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions
Our physicians receive robust support from trained clinical and administrative staff in all settings. The practice utilizes the MDLand EHR system for efficient patient management.
Qualifications:
- Valid medical license in New York
- DEA certification
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is essential
