The Dining Services Worker is responsible for a range of duties primarily associated with food preparation, service, support, supply management, and sanitation in a dining environment. Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering friendly and efficient service while presenting food to customers.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding food items and their ingredients.
  • Ensuring food is maintained at the appropriate temperature.
  • Performing finishing tasks such as sandwich making, grilling, slicing, assembling, and preparing beverages.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized service area.
  • Restocking food and supplies as needed.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, tables, chairs, utensils, and equipment.
  • Disposing of trash in designated containers.
  • Breaking down soiled trays and sorting components for washing.
  • Operating and maintaining dishwashing machines and other food service equipment.
  • Setting up rooms for events and rearranging furniture as required.
  • Assisting with unloading deliveries and storing food supplies.

Pay Rate:
  • $16.00/hour
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
