Summary of Functions
Responsible for assisting the server throughout the dining experience while adhering to a high standard of service.
Also accountable for cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring guest needs, and assisting servers or supervisors with their requests in an efficient manner, showcasing the highest level of guest service.

- Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
- Responsible for clearing all tables using tray service, resetting them for new guests, and ensuring tables are set according to venue standards.
- Ensure customers enjoy a pleasant dining experience by providing constant, attentive, and friendly service to all guests.
- Assist the Server in delivering appetizers and water to guests.
- Support Servers with any guest service requests.
- Responsible for refilling water, delivering beverages, and bread service throughout the meal, while clearing soiled dishes from the table after guests have finished eating, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
- Be knowledgeable about wine and alcoholic beverages/garnishes and be prepared to answer guest inquiries.
- Maintain assigned sections and workstations.
- Assist other servers with all of the above to ensure total teamwork.
- Transport soiled dishes and silverware to the dishwasher area in the kitchen, ensuring proper stacking and sorting, and restock clean bus tubs.
- Reset table settings throughout the shift.
- Complete all side work promptly and satisfactorily to maintain a clean, organized work area with adequate supply levels.
- Communicate all food and service complaints to the Supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness at all side stations and restocking all bus stations.
- Work collaboratively with Hostess/Host, Supervisor, Servers, and Kitchen Staff to maintain a smooth and efficient pace.
- Be available and willing to adjust hours as necessary based on business levels.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- May be required to participate as a panelist for the Internal Review Board Process.
- Accurately perform all necessary paperwork and record-keeping at the end of shifts.
- Maintain confidential daily records of tips.
- Attend all training meetings.
- Assist with other projects as directed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Experience
- One to three months of related experience and/or training is helpful; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to memorize all food and beverage menu items and daily specials to effectively answer questions and make recommendations to customers.
- Prior bussing or serving experience is a plus.
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation.
Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
- Food handler's permit from the relevant government agency.
- Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
- Hepatitis A vaccination.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Available and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Demands
- Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 80 pounds.

- Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.

- Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
- Occasionally requires stooping, which involves the use of lower extremities and back muscles. Infrequently requires crouching.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.
The worker is frequently subject to indoor environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outdoor environmental conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
