Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Tax Analyst with a solid foundation in tax accounting and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of tax legislation and the ability to convey intricate tax concepts to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and submit corporate state and local income tax returns.
2. Analyze and document tax positions in compliance with ASC 740.
3. Support the tax provision process.
4. Engage in tax planning and research initiatives, including implementing strategies to reduce tax obligations.
5. Review tax-related accounts and lead the resolution of discrepancies.
6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure precise and timely tax reporting.
7. Stay informed about current tax practices and legislative changes.
8. Assist in tax audits and respond to tax inquiries.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting.
3. Extensive knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations.
4. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
