**OUR PRACTICE**

In the early 1990s, a collective of veterinarians recognized the necessity for an emergency facility to provide immediate, high-quality care for pets when their regular veterinarians were unavailable. This led to the establishment of an emergency clinic dedicated to serving local pet owners.

In 2005, the clinic was acquired, continuing its mission to deliver exceptional emergency services around the clock, including overnight care, weekends, and holidays. As the demand for services grew, the facility expanded to meet the needs of both patients and referring veterinarians.

In 2007, the clinic relocated to a larger facility, transforming into a 24-hour emergency and referral center, operational every day of the year. This evolution attracted specialists, enabling the clinic to offer advanced services, including specialty surgery and ophthalmology.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
  • Foster relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to cultivate a compassionate and collaborative environment.
  • Encourage a learning atmosphere for team members and veterinary students visiting the facility.
  • Assess and implement treatment plans for emergency cases.
  • Oversee the care of specialty patients requiring overnight hospitalization.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and support staff.
  • Engage with referral partners through verbal communication and written correspondence.
  • Participate in morning rounds to collaborate with specialists on hospitalized patients.
  • Promote a positive and supportive workplace culture.
