Diesel Technician Job Description

Carter Logistics is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Volvo and/or Detroit certifications a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new diagnostic tools
