Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming various facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows and walls.
• Ensure lights and vents are free from dust and debris.
• Conduct carpet shampooing and floor stripping/waxing.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Carry out other janitorial tasks as directed.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have at least two years of custodial experience in similar environments. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves working in diverse settings, including outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Frequent travel within the county is expected, and the role may require working independently. The job involves exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Candidates must be capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and performing repetitive motions. The work environment may expose employees to extreme temperatures, noise levels that require shouting, and various physical conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts and chemicals.
