**Position Title:** Fleet Operations Supervisor

**Department:** Operations

**Location:** Sumter, SC JBS Carriers

**Reports to:** Terminal Supervisor

**Principal Responsibilities:**
  • Oversee and facilitate all aspects of driver management, encompassing operations, safety & compliance, vacation/home-time, employee relations, claims, and breakdowns.
  • Ensure effective communication with load planners and customer service representatives to guarantee timely deliveries and load precision.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the timely completion of preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
  • Support HR initiatives as required, including payroll processing, benefits enrollment, disciplinary actions, and fostering communication between drivers and management.
  • Prepare and administer daily and weekly operational reports.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.
**Experience:** A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, ideally within the trucking sector.

**Qualifications:**
  • General knowledge of the trucking industry.
  • Proficient in standard computer applications.
  • Familiarity with TMW and/or Qualcomm systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong grasp of FMSCA Hours of Service regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent time management abilities with effective prioritization skills.
  • A proven leader who is dependable, consistent, and a team player.
**Education:** High school diploma required; advanced educational qualifications preferred but not mandatory.

**Compensation and Benefits:** The selected candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:
  • Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage after 60 days of employment.

  • Annual base salary range of $45,000 to $50,000.
