We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist II to join our team at Sharp HealthCare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures in special modalities and general diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality imaging procedures in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist physicians as needed during procedures
- Verify patient identification and pregnancy status
- Implement safe and therapeutic care
- Assist Radiologist in procedures while practicing sterile techniques
- Follow patient's Advanced Directive and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA-approved school
- Meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent
- ARRT Certificate - ARRT
- Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit - CA Department of Public Health
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
- IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - Various-Employee provides certificate
- 1 Year CT experience
- ARRT (CT) certification is preferred
