Job Description

Lynch Oil CO is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Oil/Package Driver to join our team in Tampa. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely delivering packaged products to customer sites, maintaining a clean and organized truck, and providing excellent customer service.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and secure products on the truck
  • Safely deliver packaged products to customer sites
  • Keep the truck clean and organized at all times
  • Operate a forklift when needed
  • Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance, and document on the driver's truck inspection sheets
  • Maintain a Driver's Daily Log in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Obey all traffic laws and DOT regulations
Warehouse Responsibilities:
  • Perform warehouse tasks on an as-needed basis
  • Move inventory using a forklift
  • Load the truck with deliveries
Qualifications:
  • Possess and maintain a Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and Tanker preferred
  • Be a safety-conscious driver
  • Not have an automatic transmission restriction on the CDL
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and maneuver drums safely to individual trucks to deliver fuel by hand
  • Ability to climb a ladder, bend, squat, reach, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to withstand heat and extreme weather
  • Ability to maintain a fast pace while meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations
  • 1 year of truck driving experience
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug test
