We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Catholic Medical Center. As a key member of our Breast Care Center, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the diagnosis of breast cancer and other breast diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality mammographic examinations, adhering to guidelines set by the American College of Radiology, FDA, and MQSA.
- Educate patients on the importance of early detection, providing a clear understanding of the mammographic procedure and post-examination instructions.
- Collaborate closely with Breast Sonographers, Providers, and the Interdisciplinary Care Team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Request and review previous imaging studies for comparison when necessary.
- Work closely with Physicians to perform biopsies, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Current registration as an ARRT, RT(R), (M)
- Registration with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology
- Two (2) plus years of experience as a registered mammography technologist preferred
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
