Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Dispatch Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the operations within the Communications Center. This full-time, exempt position is essential for ensuring efficient scheduling and adherence to operational guidelines.

Location:
Our operations are based in a vibrant community, providing a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the activities of various shifts, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Utilize advanced system status management technology to track and control unit movements.
  • Handle incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, assessing response levels and allocating resources accordingly.
  • Maintain radio communications with various service units, documenting response times and ensuring compliance with performance standards.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on unusual incidents to the Operations Manager.
  • Support data collection for billing purposes and assist in training initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and conduct performance evaluations to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum age of 18. Experience in a high-profile EMS system is required, along with proficiency in CAD and data entry, including a typing speed of at least 35 wpm. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred, as well as prior experience in supervisory roles. Knowledge of local geography and strong communication skills are essential.
