SightMD is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Supervisor in our Ambulatory Surgery department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the preoperative, operative, and recovery areas.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct patient education and counseling on surgical procedures, postoperative care, and disease management.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an ambulatory surgery setting.
- Current ACLS/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery setting.
Rotating schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Salary Range:$52.00/hour to commensurate with experience.
