About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Computing and Data Analytics Department as a tenure-track professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching computing, computer science, and data analytics related courses, as well as contributing to the department's research and service activities.
Responsibilities
- Teach a range of courses in computing, computer science, and data analytics, including introductory programming, database, and web development, as well as upper-level courses in specialized areas.
- Develop and teach pioneering interdisciplinary courses that integrate computing and data analytics with other disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to the department's research agenda and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals.
- Participate in faculty governance and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
