We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Healthcare Support Permanent Placement. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound procedures and analyzing results to provide accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities- Position patients and perform cardiovascular ultrasound procedures per protocol, selecting appropriate transducers and optimizing images.
- Analyze results for image quality and inclusion of anatomical and hemodynamic information, creating a preliminary report based on acquired measurements and knowledge of physiologic function.
- Assist physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures, formulating and ensuring consistent evidence-based exam protocols.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, following appropriate safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Technologist program.
- 1 Adult Echo and 1 Vascular Credential from a recognized credentialing organization.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Competitive hourly rate ($41.43-$56.97) based on experience and internal equity.
