Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Promote continuous quality improvement and teach patients/families
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire
