Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with primary care providers to manage patients with mental health concerns.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify mental health issues and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry is preferred.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- DEA license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine; completion of a 3-year residency in General Psychiatry OR current status as a 3rd year resident in a General Psychiatry program.
- Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
- 1 year experience working in Psychiatry preferred; experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred.
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal interactions with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural, and economic groups.
- Basic computer literacy ability to comply with department needs and expectations.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
- Demonstrated medical/psychiatric knowledge and clinical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. $161.77
If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience.
