Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods to meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Follow therapeutic diets ordered by physicians to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and storage policies.
  • Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assure proper portion control and presentation of food to meet the expectations of our residents.
Requirements
  • One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.
  • Knowledge of dining service procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing home operations.
