Job Title: Anesthesiologist Physician

UChicago Medicine Medical Group is seeking an exceptional Anesthesiologist Physician to join our team at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist Physician to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our medical group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesiology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors
  • Supervise nurses when they administer anesthesia to patients before procedures
  • Monitor vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjust anesthetics as needed
  • Maintain detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs
  • Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness
  • Communicate continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses
Requirements:
  • Medical License in Illinois
  • Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
  • 3-5 years of experience is preferred
  • Completed a US Residency Program
