About the Role

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral support services to individuals with disabilities and mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct weekly fidelity checks to ensure plans are being implemented as designed.
  • Collaborate with house managers to ensure all necessary materials and supplies are available for plan implementation.
  • Present graphical summaries of behavioral support plan effectiveness to DSP staff at regular staff meetings.
  • Ensure the implementation, completion, and training of DSPs on data sheets.
  • Plan and participate in recreational, therapeutic, and training activities for individuals.
  • Provide positive behavioral supports according to behavior support plans and respond to emergency situations as trained.
  • Complete required documentation as per Benchmark Human Services, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Complete a 40-hour training program based on the RBT Task List.
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment administered by a BACB certificant.
