As an integral part of our healthcare team, the Oncology Care Management Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing patient care within the oncology department. Our facility is recognized for its commitment to excellence, housing a 222-bed hospital equipped with a Level II Trauma Center and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage patient care to ensure continuity, optimal outcomes, and high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop and coordinate comprehensive oncology treatment plans.
  • Identify and address challenges impacting the delivery of clinical services for oncology patients.
  • Serve as a key resource for staff and external partners regarding oncology patient care, clinical standards, and operational policies.
  • Design, assess, and recommend improvements for programs and policies related to oncology care.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community referral resources as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a preference for 5 years in oncology nursing.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification required.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification must be obtained within 5 years of assuming the position.
