As an integral part of our technology division, you will be tasked with establishing and upholding a strong security framework, performing proactive threat evaluations, and ensuring that our security practices are in accordance with our policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture and Implementation: Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive internal security solutions, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and various other security measures.
  • Threat Assessment and Remediation: Carry out routine penetration testing and red teaming activities to uncover vulnerabilities within our network, infrastructure, and platforms. Work collaboratively with the broader technology team to mitigate and resolve identified security threats.
  • Security Policy and Compliance: Ensure that our security practices comply with internal policies, industry benchmarks, and applicable regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Oversee security systems for potential threats, formulate and implement incident response strategies, and lead investigations and forensic analysis in the event of security breaches.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, proactively identify opportunities for security enhancements, and drive ongoing improvements in our security posture.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Security Operations/Cybersecurity Engineering, with a proven history of implementing and managing security solutions in complex environments.
  • IAM Expertise: Extensive experience in developing and managing IAM within Google Workspace and Google Cloud environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of security principles, protocols, and best practices. Proficient with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls).
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a collaborative approach, and the capacity to effectively communicate security risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience in deploying MDM and managing local security policies for Apple devices, along with prior experience in the healthcare or health tech sector.
  • Certifications: Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
  • Scripting/Automation: Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) or automation tools to optimize security tasks.

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $170,000, contingent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
