Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures. This includes conducting regular quality audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, analyzing quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure quality standards are met, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality control standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have 5 years' experience with quality inspection in the maritime and defense manufacturing industry. You should also have strong knowledge of quality control processes, especially in advanced technologies and welding, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with maritime regulations and industry quality standards, and certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) preferred.
