Cardiothoracic Surgical Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team of medical professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, AAA repair, lung resection, and vein harvesting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide coverage for Inpatient, OR, Outpatient Ambulatory, and Call coverage for Cardiothoracic services
  • Work a 24-hour call schedule
  • Participate in electronic dictation and have basic computer knowledge to access patient charts, X-rays, and lab results using EPIC
  • Attend nine hours of electronic medical records training and additional orientation to introduce the provider to available resources and people
  • Undergo a drug screen, TB screen, and review immunization records prior to the start of the assignment
Requirements:
  • Current licensure and certification in the field of thoracic surgery
  • Ohio-based physicians with a clean background are preferred
