Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store by ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards are met. Deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers in finding products, and maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Maintain assigned areas clean using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic areas.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, and notify supervisor of supply needs in advance.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
