Position Overview:

Our patients often require comprehensive critical care for complex medical conditions, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular issues, strokes, amputations, and ventilator weaning.

As a 40-bed, free-standing long-term acute care hospital, we serve communities across the Inland Northwest.

We are currently seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to enhance our team of committed healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Understanding of treatment costs and financial support in relation to quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to apply age-specific standards, policies, and procedures in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Competency in delivering care according to established standards.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Leadership abilities in delegating, organizing, and educating colleagues and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and professionally with others.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and infection control standards.
