Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Redmond. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for assessing patient's pulmonary status and making recommendations to the nurse, physician, therapist, and interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have critical thinking and patient assessment skills with the ability to evaluate a plan of care. They will also possess effective oral and written communication skills, including documentation in the patient care record and use of computer skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

• Assess patient's pulmonary status and make recommendations to the nurse, physician, therapist, and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform routine and critical care respiratory care procedures.
• Oversee the work of Respiratory Care staff during their assigned shift.

• Critical thinking and patient assessment skills with the ability to evaluate a plan of care.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including documentation in the patient care record and use of computer skills.
• Airway management skills which may include insertion and maintenance of a patent airway and care of artificial airways.

• Current BLS certification.
• Current Georgia RCP License.
