Job Overview

Eden GeoPower Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our interdisciplinary R&D team. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our Senior High Voltage Engineer to design, build, and optimize high voltage pulse power devices for electrical reservoir stimulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior High Voltage Engineer to develop lab-scale and field-scale pulse power devices.
  • Support the engineering team in optimizing electrical stimulation parameters.
  • Conduct electrical stimulation experiments on laboratory-prepared and natural rock samples.
  • Design and build low-voltage control circuits for pulsed power devices.
  • Design and build electrical noise suppression systems.
  • Assist the geomechanics team in measuring electrical properties of various mineral samples.
  • Prepare and present project updates, technical presentations, and reports for team members.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience performing electrical measurements with oscilloscopes.
  • Previous breadboarding and soldering experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in fabrication is a plus.
  • Experience working with and building high-voltage circuitry is a plus.
  • Experience with electrical properties of materials is a plus.
