We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures to diagnose disease and injury, following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Radiology Technician certification from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency required.
- Radiologic Technologist specialization in Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
