Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy team members, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist pharmacists with managing day-to-day activities, including daily and weekly reports, and pharmacy scheduling.
  • Coordinate and implement training and development programs for support staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to new colleagues, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve high-performing results, including meeting customer service standards and maintaining accurate inventory management.
Requirements
  • National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Licensure requirements vary by state
  • Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
  • Customer Service Orientation: actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
  • Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Mathematical Reasoning: ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
  • Problem Resolution: ability to judge when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work 30 hours or greater per week
  • Greater than 1 year experience as a CVS Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience in Inventory Specialist role
