The Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery will play a critical role in the surgical team, serving as the primary assistant in the operating room. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough health assessments and gather comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform detailed physical examinations to identify health risks and needs.
- Formulate differential diagnoses based on clinical findings and patient interviews.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide on-call coverage as required.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation and billing for services rendered.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
