Key Responsibilities:

The Duplicating Machine Operator will be responsible for:

  • Operating various office machines including photocopiers, mimeographs, and other duplicating equipment to produce document copies.
  • Handling small binding tasks and performing clerical duties related to printing service requests, including preparing assembly sheets and printing requisitions.
  • Conducting minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, as well as managing inventory of supplies.
  • Physically managing the workload, which may involve lifting boxes of paper weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
  • Inserting materials into document folders and organizing files for processing based on established priorities.
  • Demonstrating a general understanding of office environments and procedures.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of general office experience.
  • At least one year of specialized experience as a duplicating or photocopying machine operator.
  • One year of experience using the Windows Operating System and word processing software such as MS Word and Excel.

Education/Certification:

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Security Requirement: Sensitive but unclassified security clearance is necessary.
