We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team at Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing daily imaging activities, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety, and maintaining the cleanliness and proper utilization of imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Imaging and Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, select anatomic and technical parameters, and operate magnetic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Patient Education and Communication: Educate patients on procedures, explain exam results, and ensure their comfort and safety during exams.
- Equipment Maintenance and Quality Control: Maintain imaging equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Accurately record patient data, treatment records, and prepare reports as needed.
- Certifications and Education: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, active BLS Provider certification, and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Experience and Skills: One year of experience in radiologic imaging, knowledge of Siemens and Phillips equipment, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.
