About this Role
As a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse at TotalMed Staffing, you will provide high-quality patient care in acute care settings. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, planning and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing their conditions and coordinating treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in their health status promptly.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide patient education to promote recovery and self-care management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
