Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at St George Regional Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise and educate students and new employees
  • Participate in patient care conferences and staff meetings
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state Speech Pathologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current certificate of clinical competence
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outpatient adult experience in Voice, Swallow, FEES, and Stroboscopy
  • Experience with evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting Speech, Language, and Cognitive-Communication function
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with 29 hours per week, with the possibility of growing to full-time. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
