Ambulatory Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ambulatory Care Specialist to join our team at Grady Health System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to non-licensed and licensed clinical support staff to ensure accountability and safety of patient care.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our Ambulatory Care Specialty clinics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and at least 2-3 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year of charge role and/or supervisory experience. Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to non-licensed and licensed clinical support staff
- Ensure accountability and safety of patient care
- Enhance throughput while enforcing safety management programs
- Conduct non-surgical in-office procedures/services as needed
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in State of Georgia
- 2-3 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of charge role and/or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Professional nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting
- Experience in Specialty Care Areas
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience
- Proficient with EMR systems such as EPIC
$83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
