Job Summary:

Imperial Trading Co., LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL Class A Route Driver to join our team in the Duncanville, TX area. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products loaded and secured by the warehouse in a safe and courteous manner
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) rules and regulations
• Utilize the company's P.O.D. (Proof of Delivery) scanner to accurately deliver all product and/or equipment
• Maintain accurate accounting of delivery paperwork and secure cash and checks
• Enhance and uphold our company's reputation by ensuring courteous customer service

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card
• At least 1 year (6 months considered) of CDL driving experience
• Must be able to pass road test
• Must have an acceptable driving record based on DOT and Company insurance mandates
• Must be in compliance with DOT's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse provisions

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently work in wet humid and freezing conditions and while working in outdoor weather conditions. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.
