Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric management for children and teens, ages 5-18, in an outpatient setting
- Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical records (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations
- Provide psychiatric consultation and collaborative care to pediatric and adolescent medicine, child crisis, and emergency medicine services
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams in the management of complex cases
- Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns, and other trainees
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York
- ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- ABPN certification (or eligibility within five years of graduation) in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Competitive compensation package
