We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in their work.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various tasks such as measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. You will also be required to read and interpret construction blueprints, select and use appropriate materials, tools, and equipment efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality and precision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carpentry: Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction blueprints and execute tasks accordingly
  • Materials and Tools: Select and use appropriate materials, tools, and equipment efficiently
  • Quality and Precision: Maintain high standards, ensuring accurate installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and trim
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Project Management: Manage time and resources to meet deadlines and deliver quality results
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on carpentry techniques and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all aspects of carpentry, from cutting to installation
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating construction equipment
  • Ability to interpret construction blueprints
  • Commitment to safety protocols in a construction environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Relevant certifications preferred

Compensation: $28.50/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, plus opportunities for overtime.
