Manual Machinist

About the Role:

Talento Search Group is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in a direct-hire position. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-30, depending on experience, and a 1st shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain tools, fixtures, and dies to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Perform changeovers on machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns to prevent costly delays
• Operate manual lathe, mill, and drill press equipment to produce high-quality parts
• Construct jigs and fixtures to support efficient production processes
• Perform brazing and other metalworking tasks as needed

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of recent experience in machining and tooling
• Ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and perform shop math calculations
• Experience with manual mills, lathes, and drill presses, as well as ability to read schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results
